Part-Time Restaurant Service Position
Join our warm and welcoming family-owned Taiwanese restaurant located in Kreis 4, Zurich. Since July 2021, we have cultivated a loyal following thanks to the novelty, variety, and quality of our food and service. Each meal is crafted with care to provide an exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our restaurant service team as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare the restaurant to welcome guests (cleaning, setting tables)
- Greet guests, provide guidance, answer questions, and take orders
- Serve food to the table
- Prepare drinks and desserts
- Manage online takeaway orders and reservations
- Collaborate with co-workers to maintain stock and inventory
- Organize and clean work areas, fridges, and freezers in accordance with HACCP guidelines
Your Profile
- Residing in or near Zurich, Kreis 4
- Possessing a cheerful, friendly, and outgoing demeanor
- Reliable, hard-working, and willing to learn, with the ability to cooperate with team members and remain calm and focused under pressure
- Intermediate communication skills in English (both reading and speaking) are essential; proficiency in Mandarin and/or German is a plus
- Familiarity with Taiwanese cuisine is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
We Offer
- Immediate start
- 30-50% workload, with potential for more hours; we operate Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for lunch from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and Tuesday to Sunday evenings from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Hourly wage contract in line with L-GAV guidelines
- On-the-job training provided
