Part-Time (approx. 30%) Restaurant Service
We are a small family-owned and family-run Taiwanese restaurant located in Kreis 4, Zurich. Since July 2021, we have garnered a loyal following due to the novelty, variety, and high quality of our food and service. Each meal is meticulously prepared to ensure an exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking enthusiastic restaurant service staff to join our team as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
- Prepare the restaurant to receive guests (cleaning and setting tables)
- Welcome guests, provide guidance and answer questions, and take orders
- Serve food to tables
- Prepare drinks and desserts
- Manage online takeaway orders and reservations
- Maintain stock and inventory alongside co-workers
- Organize and clean work areas, fridges, and freezers in compliance with HACCP guidelines
Your Profile
- Living in or near Zurich, Kreis 4
- Happy, friendly, and outgoing attitude
- Reliable, hard-working, willing to learn, and able to collaborate with team members while remaining calm and focused under pressure
- Intermediate communication skills in English (reading and speaking) are a must; proficiency in Mandarin and/or German is an advantage
- Knowledge of Taiwanese food is preferred
- Previous experience is beneficial
Offer
- Immediate start available
- 30-50% part-time availability; may offer more hours. We are open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays during lunch from 10:30-14:00 and Tuesday to Sunday evenings from 17:00-22:30.
- Hourly wage contract following L-GAV guidelines
- On-the-job training provided
