Your Mission
At SMG, you’ll take ownership from day one, focusing on our Automotive division, including the platforms AutoScout24 and MotoScout24. As a UX researcher, you will be instrumental in understanding our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions. Your insights will shape the product strategy and guide the user experiences across our platforms, impacting the car market perception in Switzerland and directly influencing millions of people.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to define strategic research objectives.
- Prepare, conduct, and analyze qualitative and quantitative user studies to explore business models, features, concepts, and designs.
- Effectively communicate insights and findings to represent user needs during product development.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders from product, design, marketing, data, and strategy to enhance our products with a focus on user experience.
- Advocate for user needs and user-centered design throughout the organization.
- Shape the product strategy and roadmap through proactive research.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- You are well-versed in user research and interested in design thinking methods, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and UI best practices.
- You possess experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative UX research studies; experience in market research or business analysis is a plus.
- You’re comfortable preparing reports and delivering presentations. You communicate effectively in both written and spoken English, our corporate language, and you are fluent in at least one of French, German, or Italian.
- You know how to run statistical analyses and are familiar with statistical analysis tools like R (a significant advantage) or SPSS.
- You have a degree at the university level in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, or a related field emphasizing human behavior.
- You can work independently, prioritize tasks among multiple projects, and adapt to changing schedules. Your proactivity shines through in discussions about our workflow, helping elevate our research team.
