The Functional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ) is a state-of-the-art research and training facility, collaboratively operated by ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. Leveraging the latest technologies and expertise in omics research, the FGCZ offers robust research services and project support to the vibrant life science research community in Zurich.
This position focuses on the analysis and interpretation of mass spectrometry data in support of researchers at the FGCZ. The team is responsible for processing raw data, high-performance computing, statistical evaluation, interpretation, and integrated analysis. We maintain a diverse portfolio of both commercial and open-source applications and continually work on developing novel data processing and analysis pipelines. A critical aspect of this role includes integrating data into our data management system while ensuring the reproducibility of analyses.
Independent working ability, coupled with effective interaction skills among research and technical staff and external research groups, is essential. A strong command of English is required, as this is the primary working language at the center.
