Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, contributing to various preclinical discovery programs involving human antibodies. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Screening human antibodies across different preclinical discovery programs.
- Cultivating and manipulating mammalian cells.
- Operating various liquid handlers and robotic systems.
- Conducting initial characterization of antibody candidates.
- Documenting and reporting results to the team.
- Supporting activities related to antibody cloning, production, and characterization.
- Collaborating effectively as part of a research team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- BSc or equivalent training as a laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline in the biological sciences.
- Proven experience in handling and cultivating eukaryotic cells.
- Familiarity with immunological techniques such as ELISA and Western Blotting, as well as biophysical techniques like SPR and BLI.
- Additively, experience with laboratory biology techniques such as cloning and protein expression will be considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team with a focus on deliverables.
