Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for our preclinical discovery programs, including:
- Screening human antibodies across different discovery initiatives.
- Cultivating and manipulating mammalian cells.
- Operating various liquid handlers and robotic systems.
- Conducting initial characterizations of antibody candidates.
- Documenting and reporting results to the research team.
- Supporting antibody cloning, production, and characterization activities.
- Working both independently and collaboratively as an integral part of the research team.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications:
- BSc or equivalent training as a laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Proficient in the handling and cultivation of eukaryotic cells.
- Experience with immunological techniques (ELISA, Western Blotting) and biophysical methods (SPR, BLI).
- Additional experience in laboratory biology techniques such as cloning and protein expression is advantageous.
- Well-organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, focusing on deliverables.
