The chair pursues research mainly in the areas of applied international and public economics and in applied econometrics. Our research findings are disseminated through presentations at international conferences and workshops, as well as publications in leading academic journals in economics.
We have fully vectorized data from a large number of musical scores, where each score is represented by a matrix. The objective is to perform pairwise comparisons of n-grams (snippets of fixed size) across all these scores to establish similarity scores for each pair of pieces.
