The Development Economics Group (DEC) at ETH Zurich is dedicated to empirical economics research aimed at informing more effective policies to reduce global poverty and inequality. Our mission is to develop social innovations that address these critical issues through rigorous empirical and experimental economic research.
The Development Economics Group (ETH-DEC) is seeking a Research Assistant in Development Economics. The position is set to commence on October 1st and will last for six months. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain research experience between a Master’s program and a PhD.
We are an international team of highly motivated economists and data scientists dedicated to analyzing global inequalities and contributing to impactful global development solutions. Our research group collaborates closely with NADEL, a multidisciplinary team training future decision-makers in global cooperation and development, linking researchers with civil society, NGOs, governments, and industry to develop and scale innovations for the global population.
