The Development Economics Group (DEC) at ETH Zurich is dedicated to empirical economics research that informs more effective policies aimed at reducing global poverty and inequalities. Our mission is to foster social innovations that address these critical issues through empirical and experimental economic research.
We are currently offering a research assistant position in Development Economics, starting on the 1st of October for a duration of 6 months. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking research experience between their Master's degree and a PhD program.
We are an international team of highly motivated economists and data scientists dedicated to analyzing global inequalities and contributing to solutions for global development. Our research group collaborates closely with NADEL, a multidisciplinary team that educates future decision-makers in global cooperation and development, linking researchers with civil society, NGOs, governments, and industry to develop and scale innovations for the global population.
