Your Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct independent research aimed at completing a cumulative PhD thesis.
- Collaborate on ongoing research projects at the chair.
- Support teaching activities, including supervision of student theses, preparation of course materials, and assistance with innovative teaching formats.
- Contribute to the administrative and organizational tasks of the chair.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master’s degree for the PhD position, or a PhD for the Postdoctoral position, in Business Administration or related fields such as Applied Economics or Industrial Engineering and Management, with a focus on strategic management and an interest in the research topics at the Chair of International Management.
- Expertise in quantitative methods or simulation methods, as demonstrated in a master’s or doctoral thesis.
- For PhD applicants, a strong potential to develop and publish research results in international top journals, evidenced by a research-oriented thesis. For Postdoctoral applicants, this should be demonstrated through published papers or works under review or accepted at conferences. Additionally, applicants should have developed a research program of international stature and be willing to align their research portfolio with the focus areas at the Chair of International Management.
- Excellent command of English (oral and written). Proficiency in German is a plus.
