Position Overview: Relationship Manager Private Banking

The Relationship Manager Private Banking (RM) serves as the primary point of contact between clients and the Bank. Acting as an ambassador for the Bank, the RM is responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNWI) private clients. This role involves delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions tailored to meet clients' needs and addressing routine inquiries and transactions.

Your Challenge

  • Proactively develop and maintain a self-acquired UHNWI portfolio with a focus on the UK International Market.
  • Create and cultivate trust-based relationships with clients through regular and personalized contact.
  • Respond to client needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ascertain and evaluate clients' financial situations and overall objectives.
  • Provide general wealth management services, formulating integrated solutions (legal, tax, financial, etc.) aligned with clients’ objectives.
  • Manage client assets in accordance with investment guidelines, coordinating with “Advisory Solutions” and “Investment Management” departments.
  • Closely monitor the evolution of financial markets, adjusting investment strategies as necessary.
  • Introduce the Bank’s products and services to clients, delivering tailor-made investment solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with regulatory procedures.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record in acquiring new UHNWI relationships through an existing network in the UK International market.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience advising sophisticated UK-based clients, managing substantial portfolios within Private Banking institutions.
  • Investment advisory competence and experience in local equities, bonds, and profound knowledge of derivative instruments; portfolio management experience would be an asset.
  • Broad knowledge of global financial markets, economics, and current affairs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing new business opportunities.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK Market, including its legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Recent experience living and working in the UK is advantageous; however, established relationships in the UK market are essential.
  • Able to work independently and take the initiative.
  • Business-oriented with the capability to think strategically in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
  • Ability to plan, set priorities, and perform under pressure.
  • Open, approachable, and a team player.
  • Passionate about client service.
  • Persistent and persuasive.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong educational and professional background, preferably holding a Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
