Job Opportunity: Reinsurance Manager
We are seeking a talented Reinsurance Manager to join our Group Reinsurance team. This role will focus on the Specialty Lines of Business and requires a strong analytical background.
What to Expect
- Cross-border cooperation with all Business Units of the group.
- Management of the Reinsurance needs within the Business Unit while overseeing the respective Lines of Business externally.
- Act as a bridge among partners, data delivery, analytics, actuarial, accounting, and claims departments.
We Expect
- A university degree in business, insurance, actuarial sciences, or computer science.
- Several years of experience in a similar role; strong candidates with the ability to quickly adapt will also be considered.
- Experience with Specialty Lines of Business: Marine, Bond, Fine Art, and Cyber.
- A willingness to be part of a small team and take on deputization responsibilities for other Lines of Business.
- Hands-on experience in establishing processes and systems within a (re)insurance company.
- The ability to coordinate activities among a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient analytics and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities, along with entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
- Capability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- A self-driven professional with a structured and quality-focused mindset.
- Business proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
