Job Opportunity: Head of Nursing Department

For a renowned senior center in the Senseregion, we are seeking a qualified Nurse HF to take on the role of Head of Nursing Department with an 80–100% workload. Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the nursing department while empowering your team and actively shaping the daily nursing experience.
  • Ensure residents receive exceptional care and personal support.
  • Collaborate closely with the experienced head of the second department and nursing management.
  • Support your employees by providing guidance and being receptive to their needs and concerns.
  • Work alongside a nursing expert to enhance nursing quality and receive assistance from an experienced RAI expert with RAI classifications.
  • Mentor and support trainees and students in conjunction with the vocational training coordinator.

Requirements

  • Completed nursing training at tertiary level (HF/FH/DN II/AKP) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in the German language, both spoken and written; French language skills are a welcome addition, though not mandatory.
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the role—don't worry if your school French is a bit rusty!
  • Knowledge of interRAI LTCF and Carefolio is desirable.
  • Clear communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and innovative ideas are essential.
  • A sense of humor that can brighten even the most challenging days is encouraged.
