We are excited to announce a unique opportunity within Stryker’s Peripheral Vascular division for a motivated and driven Regional Sales Manager. This role will allow you to lead a team of Sales Representatives across Switzerland and Austria, making a significant impact in healthcare through our industry-leading products and services.

Your Role

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee the overall management of your region. This includes developing and leading your team while taking ownership of sales performance and budgets within your territory. You will also contribute to broader country-level commercial execution by supporting strategic initiatives, key accounts, and therapy adoption priorities aligned with EMEA objectives.

Your focus on maximizing customer service and acquiring new customers will be pivotal in driving success. To thrive in this role, you should possess a proven history of delivering exceptional results, both individually and through your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a sales team to ensure that financial and performance objectives are met.
  • Accurately forecast business and drive a sustainable, long-term regional sales pipeline aligned with country and EMEA priorities.
  • Attract, develop, engage, and lead a high-performing sales team, driving business acceleration.
  • Support collaboration with our Enabling Function teams to maintain a smooth Order to Cash process and ensure customers receive exceptional service.
  • Foster detailed communication between the sales team and other in-house teams, providing feedback to senior management as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key regional and national healthcare systems and influential stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Embrace and enable change to simplify, scale, and innovate as a senior commercial role model within the region.
  • Provide input into regional business planning and market development initiatives.

Travel Requirements

This role will require approximately 50-70% travel to customer sites, as well as attendance at local, national, and EMEA meetings as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent commercial and clinical experience.
  • Proven success over at least 5 years in a sales and/or commercial leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in advanced strategic account judgment and influence across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets through individual and team performance.
  • Ideally possess product and sales knowledge in the Medical Devices sector.
  • Experience using CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the Vascular therapy area is preferred.
