Company Description

Our client ensures that the airport system is supplied with necessary energy carriers with maximum reliability day in and day out. To this end, they operate extensive production facilities and transport networks. Currently, they are transitioning to CO2-free solutions. For the operation and maintenance of our heating and cooling supply systems, they are seeking a candidate who has completed a four-year vocational training and possesses a keen interest in industrial systems, heat pumps, and refrigeration machines. After thorough training, you will independently manage their facilities and be ready to take on responsibility in standby duty while also contributing to plant maintenance. Residency in the airport region is necessary due to the on-call duty.

Job Description

In this role, you will perform maintenance and repair work on our production facilities for heating and cooling, hydraulic transport networks, and heat transfer stations. You will ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and be responsible for taking systems in and out of service. Your responsibilities will also include conducting inspections and checks, as well as identifying and rectifying any disturbances. Additionally, you will be part of an on-call duty rotation with your colleagues. You will effectively utilize and maintain our facility documentation, operating instructions, and checklists.

We Expect

• You are a refrigeration technician with EFZ or a mechanic with several years of practical experience with large refrigeration machines; on-call duty is seen as a welcome change.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and large heat pumps, along with an affinity for energy supply, or a completed heating plant certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• You demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and work with precision.
• You remain calm and respond thoughtfully, even in unexpected situations.
• You possess a driver's license of category B.
