Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this position is to own, develop, and implement strategic and tactical plans for our hematology brands, based on robust external insights and in strong alignment with the international brand strategy. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Market Access, Commercial, and other functions.

You will manage and coordinate marketing activities in the field, working closely with the Commercial Leads and field teams. Your responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring the implementation of campaigns and partnerships designed with strategic internal and external partners, ensuring alignment with approved strategies, operational plans, and budget, in order to achieve sales and performance targets.

This role is part of the Oncology Team and reports directly to the Marketing Lead for Hematology.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Co-leading the local disease area short- and long-term (3-year) strategic plans along with Medical, Commercial, and Market Access, under the guidance of the Strategic Marketing Lead.
  • Executing, coordinating, and analyzing agreed tactical plans to ensure brand growth, along with monitoring tactics against brand objectives, while ensuring team expertise in the disease area and brand strategy.
  • Monitoring product performance and the external environment using appropriate tools and field insights, taking corrective actions when necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Driving innovation, experimentation, and learning for the development and optimization of the omni-channel strategy.
  • Collaborating closely with the Commercial Team to identify key needs and develop business through specific national/regional projects, services, and initiatives, focusing on top accounts.
  • Clearly communicating the brand strategy and tailored tactics to the field, in strong alignment with the Commercial Lead, while providing insights for account and territory plans.
  • Supporting and driving the execution of marketing projects and campaigns for field teams in strong alignment with Commercial Leads.
  • Driving initiatives to accelerate the patient journey, such as patient activation projects and Disease Awareness campaigns in collaboration with KOLs and patient associations, along with the Medical team when necessary.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) are a plus.
  • Business fluency in German and English; proficiency in French or any other language is desirable.
  • Proven experience in brand management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment in Switzerland.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep experience in digital marketing and social media platforms.
