Job Description
This role is part of the Private Markets Operations team, with a significant focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of AML/KYC requirements and feel comfortable understanding, as well as constructively challenging, information and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate approvals and processes a variety of legal documentation.
- Respond to queries from internal and external sources, particularly those related to AML/KYC, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Support the ongoing lifecycle of investments by liaising with General Partners, administrators, and external legal counsel, especially regarding pre- and post-investment activities such as refreshing tax documents and KYC reviews.
- Execute various legal documents within the Private Markets Operations team, focusing on ensuring AML/KYC compliance.
- Work with internal stakeholders (legal, investment, finance) to obtain necessary approvals for signing legal documents while maintaining awareness of AML/KYC implications throughout the process.
- Resolve complex KYC requests related to our investing entities and support external administrators with their own KYC requirements.
- Optimize workflows in fund operations, particularly in AML/KYC processes and documentation handling.
- Participate in various ongoing and upcoming projects, taking ownership of tasks that directly impact this role.
Requirements
- KV degree.
- Proficient language skills in German and English.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Strong ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- At least 2 years' experience in a client service/query management role.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in managing KYC/AML for institutional clients (requesting, reviewing, providing).
- Able to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines while maintaining high quality.
- Detail-oriented with an efficient and precise working style.
- Open and clear communication style with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
