Quality Manager - Components
We are looking for a proactive leader to take on the role of Quality Manager for Components within our strategic supply chain organization. You will report directly to the Global Category Manager Components based in Baden, Switzerland.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the quality strategy for the assigned components group, aligning with long-term business goals and engaging cross-functional stakeholders globally.
- Drive sustainable quality improvements in serial production parts, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Anticipate and resolve customer complaints by identifying root causes and applying effective corrective actions.
- Lead supplier onboarding and qualification, ensuring a first-time-right approach with clear quality expectations.
- Facilitate smooth supplier transitions by transferring critical quality knowledge during part relocations or portfolio expansions.
- Manage supplier development projects using Lean Six Sigma methods to implement impactful improvements.
- Continuously enhance internal quality processes, tools, and specifications to boost efficiency and prevent issues.
- Represent quality in new product and component development, ensuring early integration of quality standards and lessons learned from past projects.
Your Background
- Master's or University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Advanced training in quality management; Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent is preferred.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable; capable of identifying opportunities and driving impactful change.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable collaborating across cultures and organizational levels.
- Hands-on problem solver with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%).
