Position Overview

As a Quality Manager - Auditor Aviation Compliance, you will ensure an effective and profitable Management System in compliance with aviation regulatory and SMS requirements. Your role will involve monitoring the performance of the Management System against established standards to meet regulatory compliance and customer expectations. You will liaise with authorities, customers, and business units on safety, compliance, and quality-related topics to enable others to achieve standards.

Your Tasks

  • Plan and ensure an effective Management System in accordance with relevant requirements published by appropriate National Aviation Authorities and other International Standards such as EN 9110, ICAO, ISO 17025, EN 4179.
  • Ensure compliance of the Management System through safety and compliance audits as per the SR Technics Group Audit plan.
  • Support business units in the closed-loop process for safety, compliance, and quality-related findings, hazards, and escapes to develop effective preventive action plans.
  • Monitor safety and compliance standards to identify gaps, initiate effective preventive actions, and ensure early escalation of deviations.
  • Continuously develop the Management Systems, promoting compliance and a safety culture through communication channels and training.
  • Liaise with authorities, customers, suppliers, and business units on safety, compliance, and audit matters.
  • Administer the safety and audit database (Q-Pulse) to constantly improve the audit program, related checklists, and data trend analyses.

Your Profile

  • Technical degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in regulatory/compliance functions.
  • Strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations, preferably EASA continuing airworthiness, with advanced experience in compliance audits.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP and Q-Pulse is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English; German is a plus.
