Position: Quality Manager - Auditor Aviation Compliance

As a Quality Manager - Auditor for Aviation Compliance, you will ensure an effective and profitable Management System that meets aviation regulatory and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Your role will involve monitoring the performance of the Management System against established standards to ensure regulatory compliance and meet customer expectations. You will collaborate with authorities, customers, and business units on safety, compliance, and quality-related topics to empower teams in achieving high standards.

Your Tasks

• Plan and ensure an effective Management System in accordance with relevant requirements published by appropriate National Aviation Authorities and other International Standards, such as EN 9110, ICAO, ISO 17025, and EN 4179.
• Ensure the Management System's compliance through safety and compliance audits in accordance with the SR Technics Group Audit plan.
• Support business units in the closed-loop process for safety, compliance, and quality-related findings, hazards, and escapes, to develop effective preventive action plans.
• Monitor safety and compliance standards to identify gaps, initiate effective preventive actions, and ensure prompt escalation of deviations.
• Continuously develop the Management Systems and promote a culture of compliance and safety through communication and training.
• Liaise with authorities, customers, suppliers, and business units on safety, compliance, and audit matters.
• Manage the safety and audit database (Q-Pulse) to improve the audit program, related checklists, and data trend analyses.

Your Profile

• Technical degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in regulatory/compliance functions.
• Strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations, preferably EASA continuing airworthiness, with advanced experience in compliance audits.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP and Q-Pulse is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
