W Talent is working exclusively with an established aerospace manufacturing business in Nottingham to recruit a Quality Inspector to join its highly skilled engineering and manufacturing team. The Role - Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that components meet the required engineering specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections while collaborating closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, maintaining a strong right-first-time approach. The position operates on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections.
• Inspect components against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Identify, record, and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions as needed.
• Utilize a variety of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a right-first-time culture.
• Ensure all inspection activities adhere to company procedures and quality standards.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role within a manufacturing, engineering, or aerospace environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience utilizing precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach.
• Good understanding of quality processes and non-conformance management.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
