Your Role as a Quality Inspector - Gearbox Cell

As a Quality Inspector in the Gearbox Cell, you will:

• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety, and quality standards.
• Inspect and control gearbox components and assemblies.
• Prepare work instructions and documentation for internal and external overhauls.
• Coordinate with technical support on deviations from manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct interim and final inspections during overhaul processes.
• Apply Lean principles (Lean events, 5S) to support continuous improvement.
• Perform internal audits to enhance quality and infrastructure.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., polymechanic, automotive or mechanical technician, or similar).
• Independent, precise, and responsible work ethic according to quality standards.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a team-oriented approach, willing to work in a two-shift system.
• Willingness to undertake additional training and professional development.
• Strong IT skills (MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage).
• English B1+ (mandatory), German advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding, logical thinking, and high sense of responsibility.
