Position: Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect engines, modules, and piece parts during and after the disassembly process, ensuring that all reused parts are serviceable and that any unacceptable findings are corrected. You will maintain flawless quality control and act as the first point of contact between SR Technics engine maintenance services and our customers.

Your Tasks

  • Perform technical inspection and assessment of aircraft engine assemblies (PW4000) on schedule and according to OEM specifications and engineering orders.
  • Create repair orders for engines, modules, and piece parts.
  • Check modifications carried out on individual parts and assemblies.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Handle operating materials with environmental consciousness.
  • Work independently while thinking and acting economically.

Your Profile

  • Completed apprenticeship, preferably as a polymechanic EFZ or an equivalent mechanical apprenticeship.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and responsibly.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good health and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal responsibility and self-motivation are essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken German and English (level B1).
  • Willingness to work in 2-shifts.
