Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Inspector (Kitting), your role will involve:

  • Working on LEAP, GTF, parts, and modules.
  • Performing visual inspections for transport damage of parts and modules, along with quantity checks.
  • Completing and verifying the SAP Onlog structure.
  • Checking the LLP sheet (life-limited part) for the correct parts installation.
  • Organizing the exchange and return of material with the material coordinator team.
  • Communicating with Engineering and Material Master for SAP data adjustments.
  • Storing parts and modules in their designated locations.
  • Signing off on technical and administrative tasks according to relevant guidelines.
  • Ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Utilizing Lean and Six Sigma concepts (Lean Events, Root Cause Analysis, 5S) to drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Completed vocational training, preferably specializing in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Aviation MRO industry.
  • A willingness to work in two shifts and a flexible approach to weekend work.
  • Authorization to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66 is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to independently, precisely, and responsibly carry out assigned tasks.
  • A collaborative and dedicated team player attitude.
  • High awareness of safety, quality, and cost considerations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is essential.
  • Knowledge of the English language (minimum level B1); German skills are advantageous.
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice to provide Field Assistance Support at any location.
