Quality Engineer - Electronics Production
Your Tasks
- Ensure quality control of PCBA production processes (THT, wave soldering, selective soldering, mixed technology) and maintain control plans and acceptance criteria.
- Support production teams in troubleshooting electronic failures and lead structured problem-solving activities (8D, 5 Why, root cause analysis).
- Ensure reliability of electronic test systems (SPEA, Flying Probe, functional test benches) and implement corrective actions on test failures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce internal defects and support New Product Introduction (NPI) with robust manufacturing and test processes.
- Support supplier quality activities, define incoming inspection requirements, and contribute to the analysis of assemblies returned from the field.
Your Profile
- Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background; 3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, quality, or test engineering.
- Knowledge of PCB assembly technologies, soldering processes, and solder joint quality; experience with electronic test systems (SPEA, Flying Probe, ICT or similar) is a strong advantage.
- Structured problem-solving mindset (8D, 5 Why) with a hands-on, pragmatic approach and strong technical curiosity.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, R&D, and supplier teams; clear and effective communication with technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in Italian; English B2 or higher required.
