Quality Control Inspector
Join our Quality Assurance Department as a Quality Control Inspector, where you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and verification of Quality Control requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop the Quality Control requirements and culture, ensuring robust quality processes and cost excellence for program quality execution through collaboration with engineering, operations, and the supply chain.
- Contribute to Key Inspection Point (KIP) and Mandatory Inspection Point (MIP) documentation to verify critical features and requirements.
- Participate in non-conformance investigations whenever product and/or process requirements are violated.
- Perform incoming inspections on supply chain products.
- Conduct inline verification in accordance with product and quality assurance requirements.
- Verify measurement and test equipment.
Main Tasks
- Execute the Quality Control Program in line with project milestones.
- Ensure successful execution of customer, regulatory, and internal requirements for operations execution.
- Actively participate in the internal process for non-conformance management.
- Support process quality documentation and process qualification.
- Contribute as needed to customer and internal audits as a quality control representative.
- Assist in the development of the Quality Organization through training and coaching.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction regarding quality performance.
- Provide input for the product quality data package for space applications.
- Participate in internal root cause analysis and non-conformance reporting.
Job Requirements / Knowledge and Experience
- Completed vocational training or education (technics, mechanics, mechatronics, electronics).
- Knowledge of standards such as EN9100, ECSS, NASA, and MIL.
- Ability to quickly understand and analyze technical products and systems and their functions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in applying quality preventive methodologies such as 5Why and Ishikawa Fishbone.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional languages (German, French, and Swedish) beyond English are a strong asset.
- Experience in other space companies.
- Relevant experience in quality and continuous improvement fields.
