We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, specializing in the implementation of Quality Assurance requirements within the aerospace industry. This pivotal role serves as the main interface between Process Engineering and Operations regarding quality and safety topics. Your expertise will contribute to the effective execution of our BG Quality Program in line with Product Assurance Requirements at the manufacturing site.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop and promote a culture of Quality Assurance, ensuring robust quality processes and cost excellence through collaboration with engineering, operations, and the supply chain.
• Act as the primary interface for Process Engineering and Operations on all quality and safety matters.
• Establish Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) features in partnership with Process Engineering and Operations.
• Lead investigations into Non-Conformance and product or process requirement violations.
• Supervise the Internal Manufacturing Assembly Integration and Test (MAIT) Process Development and Qualification, focusing on relevant quality aspects.
• Define and monitor Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE), perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and assess Process Capability.
• Conduct Quality Inspections in accordance with the Product Manufacturing Inspection Plan.
• Manage Key Inspection Point (KIP) and Mandatory Inspection Point (MIP) documentation to validate Critical Features/Requirements.

Key Outputs:

• Execute the Quality Assurance Program aligned with Project Milestones.
• Ensure compliance with Customer, Regulatory, and Internal Requirements during Operations Execution.
• Translate Customer Critical to Quality Requirements into internal specifications.
• Lead and coordinate Non-Conformance Management processes.
• Facilitate Operations Critical Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and investigations.
• Moderate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Develop Process Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) and Control Plans in collaboration with Process Engineering and Operations.
• Establish comprehensive Process Quality Documentation.
• Support Process Qualification activities.
• Contribute to proposals as part of the Request For Information / Request For Quotation.
• Act as a Quality Assurance representative during Customer and Internal Audits.
• Assist in the development of the Quality Organization through Training and Coaching initiatives.

Qualifications:

Must Haves:

• Relevant experience in Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.
• BSc/MSc degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of standards such as EN9100, ECSS, NASA, and MIL.
• Aptitude for quickly understanding and analyzing technical products/systems.
• Strong theoretical skills with the ability to coach practical elements on the production floor.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience employing Quality preventive methodologies (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone, etc.).

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in additional languages (German, French, or Swedish) is a strong asset.
• Experience in other aerospace companies is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• A high level of enthusiasm and passion for quality and continuous improvement.
• A proactive and communicative nature, unafraid to ask challenging questions.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (5% to 10% as required).
