Position: QHSE Manager, Global Service Network

As the QHSE Manager for the Global Service Network, you will have a pivotal role in implementing and leading the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) strategy, fostering a robust culture of safety, quality, and sustainability throughout our organization. Your objective is to ensure compliance, enable our license-to-operate, and drive continuous improvement across more than 100 facilities worldwide within the Accelleron Service Division, all while exceeding customer expectations and ensuring sustainable operations. You will report directly to the Global Head of Service Operations and work closely with various Accelleron Group functions, particularly in Quality, HSE, and Sustainability, as well as with peers leading Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives within the Service Network.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategy Implementation: Translate the global QHSE strategy into actionable initiatives, ensuring effective execution aligned with the vision and goals of the Global Service Division and Service Operations. Regularly report on QHSE performance, risks, and improvements to the Head of Global Service Operations and Division Management.
  • Leadership: Provide functional leadership to a global network of approximately 20 QHSE Managers within the Service Network. Offer strategic direction, promote knowledge sharing, and cultivate a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Certification and Compliance: Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of global ISO certifications, including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, working closely with Global Process Owners (GPOs). Maintain compliance with international quality and safety standards.
  • Risk Management: Support the effective management of QHSE-related risks by advising the Division leadership team during key business decisions. Oversee local risk management processes within the service network, ensuring alignment with global standards and operational effectiveness.
  • Audit Program: Lead the external audit program in collaboration with the certifying body. Manage the internal audit program for the Service Division, ensuring all service sites meet and maintain the required standards.
  • Integrated Management System & Strategic Initiatives: Oversee the ongoing development of service-specific components of Accelleron’s Integrated Management System (IMS). Integrate QHSE requirements into daily operations, streamlining QHSE processes to drive reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate closely with Accelleron’s Group QHSE, HSSE, and Sustainability functions, as well as with peers in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence, aligning strategic priorities and supporting effective execution through cross-functional teamwork.

Your Background

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing QHSE across multiple sites and regions, preferably in a global or industrial environment.
  • Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor; familiarity with ISO 14001 is a plus. NEBOSH Diploma is an advantage.
  • Strong practical expertise in QHSE risk management, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
  • Fluent in English (C1+) and proficiency in German (B2) is an advantage.
  • A structured and systematic working style with a strong focus on risk-based thinking and decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
