As a Propulsion Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, defining, and implementing engine work scopes in agreement with our customers.

Your Tasks

  • Prepare and define engine work scopes for the CFM56 / PW4000 engine models for shop visits, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, SR Technics technical standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure proper implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all elements of the (safety) Management System, fulfilling all related responsibilities as defined in the MOE and SMS Manual.
  • Optimize the work scope concerning performance, reliability, shop visit costs, and turnaround time, while providing technical customer support for these engines during shop visits.
  • Actively support problem-solving activities or initiatives by identifying and participating or leading in these efforts.
  • Define and enhance technical standards and maintenance concepts for CFM56 / PW4000 engines and components, considering aviation requirements per EASA Part 145 as well as all quality and commercial aspects.
  • Support commercial departments with contractual matters, including removal plans and work scoping, along with life-limited parts (LLP) management.
  • Execute and participate in technical customer coordination meetings.

Your Profile

  • ETH, BSc, FH, or HF education.
  • Experience in the Aviation Engine MRO industry.
  • Knowledge of English (level B2) and German (level B2) is preferred.
