As a Propulsion Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, defining, and implementing engine work scopes in agreement with our customers.

Your Tasks

  • Prepare and define engine work scopes for the CFM56 / PW4000 engine models during shop visits, considering customer requirements, SR Technics technical standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure that all elements of the safety Management System are properly implemented, maintained, and continuously improved, fulfilling all related duties and responsibilities as defined in the MOE and SMS Manual.
  • Optimize the Workscope with respect to performance, reliability, shop visit costs, and turnaround time while ensuring technical customer support for these engines during the shop visit.
  • Actively participate in identifying and leading problem-solving activities or initiatives.
  • Define and improve the technical standards and maintenance concept for the CFM56 / PW4000 engines and engine components, considering aviation requirements according to EASA Part 145 and all quality and commercial aspects.
  • Support commercial departments regarding contractual issues, including removal plans and workscoping, as well as LLP (Life Limited Parts) management.
  • Execute and participate in technical customer coordination meetings.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (ETH, BSc, FH, or HF).
  • Experience in the Aviation Engine MRO industry.
  • Knowledge of English (level B2) and German (level B2) is preferred.
