To strengthen the property accounting team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to start immediately or by agreement.
Job Description
In the role of Property Accounting Lead, you will oversee and organize all accounting processes within the real estate sector. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the accurate recording of all property-related business transactions.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for condominium owners' associations (STWEG) and rental properties.
- Controlling and reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Managing budget planning, cost control, and reporting.
- Serving as the primary contact for both internal and external auditors.
- Optimizing existing processes and implementing efficient accounting and reporting systems.
- Collaborating closely with facility management, controlling, and the legal department to prepare accurate annual heating and additional cost statements.
What We Expect
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Completed commercial education, ideally complemented by further training in property accounting (e.g., federal specialist diploma in accounting or fiduciary expert).
- Several years of experience in property accounting or real estate management.
- Having leadership experience along with strong social skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and real estate law.
- A structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style.
- Very good IT skills, particularly in accounting software (ideally Quorum) and MS Office.
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness.
