Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager with a background in Reservoir Engineering. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering successful energy consulting projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and ensure our clients receive outstanding support while also contributing to the technical work within the projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage energy consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and build strong relationships.
- Collaborate with engineers, geoscientists, and other professionals to define fit-for-purpose solutions that enable project success.
- Perform project risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and present project reports to clients and company leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to maintain the highest level of expertise.
- Utilize your technical expertise to contribute to the technical aspects of the projects, including subsurface models, reservoir performance, and production data analysis, as well as reservoir development planning and optimization, depending on your background.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure the implementation of best practices.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Attributes
- Master's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or Subsurface Energy Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the energy sector and a proven track record in project management.
- Very strong project management skills and proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams across time zones through effective communication, teamwork, and cultural awareness.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and technical skills related to the energy consulting sector.
- A willingness to mentor and support junior team members.
