Position Summary
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager with a background in Reservoir Engineering. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering successful energy consulting projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring that our clients receive outstanding support. Additionally, you will contribute to the technical work required within the projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage energy consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and build strong, lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with engineers, geoscientists, and other professionals to define fit-for-purpose solutions that drive project success.
- Perform project risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and present project reports to clients and company leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to uphold the highest level of expertise.
- Utilize your technical expertise to support project components such as subsurface models, reservoir performance, production data analysis, reservoir development planning and optimization, and asset integrated production models, as per your background.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure the implementation of best practices.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Attributes
- Master's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or Subsurface Energy Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the energy sector with a proven track record in project management.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams across time zones through effective communication, teamwork, and cultural awareness.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and technical skills pertinent to the energy consulting sector.
- A willingness to mentor and support junior team members.
