Position Summary
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager with a background in Reservoir Engineering. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering successful energy consulting projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring our clients receive outstanding support. You will also contribute to the technical work within the projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage energy consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and build strong relationships.
- Collaborate with engineers, geoscientists, and other professionals to define fit-for-purpose solutions that enable project success.
- Perform project risk assessment and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and present project reports to clients and company leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the highest level of expertise.
- Utilize your technical expertise to contribute to the technical aspects of the projects, such as subsurface models, reservoir performance and production data analysis, reservoir development planning and optimization, and integrated production models, based on your background.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure the implementation of best practices.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Attributes
- Master's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or Subsurface Energy Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, with a proven track record in project management.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A successful history of leading multi-disciplinary teams across time zones, demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and cultural awareness.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and technical skills relevant to the energy consulting sector.
- Willingness to mentor and support junior team members.
