Position: Project Manager

We invite you to strengthen our Business Unit Service team in Baden, Switzerland, by bringing your expertise and experience to this critical role. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability through excellence in contract execution and by promoting the sale of additional scope and services to our existing and potential gas turbine and combined cycle customer base.

Your Tasks

  • Lead and manage the execution of Service Contracts of all types, including long-term maintenance agreements, frame agreements, and upgrade projects.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Develop and align the project execution strategy, addressing customer, contract, and Ansaldo considerations in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Lead the Service Team activities in planning and executing both planned and unplanned maintenance activities at customer plants.
  • Support the development of additional scope and services sales to customers, following the relevant Ansaldo guidelines.
  • Present allocated projects at regular review meetings with Ansaldo management.
  • Actively participate in improving and maintaining the process and tool landscape used in these activities.

Your Profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering and/or business studies, complemented by a solid technical understanding.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the industrial sector, preferably in the power industry, with a proven track record.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in project management or international sales.
  • Open-minded team player, eager to learn and demonstrate strong endurance, able to work under pressure for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong commitment to delivering on time and within budget.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and willing to travel frequently and often on short notice (up to 30%).
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of Italian and German is an asset, while other languages are advantageous.
