We Recruit
Within the Richemont Group, the China Affairs & Strategy department serves as a pivotal asset in fostering relationships between various Chinese organizations, Richemont, and its Maisons. This department provides strategic advice and operational support to all Richemont Maisons, as well as high-level representation to trade and official partners in China. We are currently seeking a proactive and operational Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and Analysis
- Monitor the Chinese economy, society, policies, companies, and clientele.
- Conduct research and forecasts on Chinese outbound tourism trends.
- Gather insights on the domestic market, focusing on emerging trends and brands.
- Perform ad-hoc research based on specific requests from Richemont Maisons.
- Business Support
- Provide internal support for Maison's strategic and operational planning.
- Assist in the business development activities of Maisons in China (HQ & Markets).
- Facilitate discussions on Chinese market and clientele development with senior management teams of Maisons.
- Construct and implement operational action plans for the Chinese market of Maisons.
- Business Partnership Development
- Identify, maintain, and develop relationships with global business partners.
- Optimize existing partner relationships while identifying new potential partners and local diaspora communities in key markets.
- Initiate partnerships with local specialized partners to enhance access to their High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) Chinese networks.
- Project Management
- Initiate, implement, and follow up on projects that strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Maisons and business partners.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Management, Economics, International Relations, or Business Administration.
- Three years of experience in research analysis and/or business development; experience in the luxury industry is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of the Chinese consumer market and the luxury industry.
- Excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel, along with impeccable analytical capabilities for editorial and research tasks.
- Detail-oriented implementation of business development projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage complex issues and balance multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
