WE RECRUIT

The Richemont China Affairs & Strategy department has established itself as a vital asset in fostering relationships among various Chinese organizations, Richemont, and its Maisons. This department not only provides strategic advice as an intelligence desk but also offers operational support to all the Maisons of Richemont while ensuring high-level representation towards trade and official Chinese partners. We are currently seeking a proactive and operational Project Manager to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and Analyses
    • Regular monitoring of the Chinese economy, society, policy, companies, and clientele.
    • Chinese outbound tourism research, forecasts, and trends.
    • Insights into the domestic market, with emphasis on emerging trends and brands.
    • Ad-hoc research as per the requests of Richemont Maisons.
  • Business Support
    • Internal support for the strategic and operational planning of Maisons.
    • Assistance in Chinese business development activities (HQ & Markets).
    • Initiating discussions on Chinese market and clientele development with senior management teams of Maisons.
    • Constructing and implementing operational action plans for Maisons in the Chinese market.
  • Business Partnership Development
    • Building global partnerships through the identification, maintenance, and development of key partners.
    • Optimizing relationships and fostering business with existing global partners.
    • Identifying new potential partners and local diaspora communities in key markets to develop collaboration.
    • Initiating partnerships with local specialized partners to enhance access to their HNWI Chinese networks.
  • Project Management
    • Initiating, implementing, and following up on projects to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Maisons and business partners.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Management, Economics, International Relations, or Business Administration.
  • 3 years of experience in research analysis and/or business development; experience in the luxury industry is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of the Chinese consumer market as well as the luxury industry.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills, along with impeccable analytical skills for editorial and research purposes.
  • Detail-oriented in the implementation of business development projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex issues across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
