Description

We are looking to strengthen our team in Switzerland (Baden) with your expertise and experience as our:

Project Manager Outage (PMO)

Your role will be to secure a professional and reliable outage and inspection management for our Service Business, leveraging your broad knowledge and passion for our GT26 and GT36 gas turbines.

Your Tasks

  • Lead international overhaul and inspection projects for combined cycle power plants.
  • Ensure best-in-class results during the project preparation, execution, and close-out phases.
  • Take responsibility for dedicated project control in terms of time, cost, and quality.
  • Ensure all work is performed according to Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Set tasks and priorities, including deadlines for the team.
  • Monitor project execution performance, reviewing targets for time, cost, and quality.
  • Ensure the closing of feedback loops after inspections and overhauls.
  • Optimize the deployment of assigned resources.
  • Work closely with other Ansaldo departments, local Service Centers, field service personnel, suppliers, and clients.

Your Profile

  • A degree in engineering and a relevant educational or professional background in the power plant business, coupled with a high level of empathy for GT power plants.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the construction, commissioning, or service of combined cycle power plants.
  • Excellent management, planning, and budgeting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of gas turbines and combined cycle power plants.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A motivating, reliable, and goal-oriented team leader who can proactively manage conflicts.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide when required (up to 10% of the time).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent command of English; German is an advantage and knowledge of Italian and French would be a bonus.
