If so, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact on our global production footprint.

As the Project Manager for Factory Investments, you will spearhead multi-million, high-impact CAPEX projects focused on factory optimization and the implementation of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. Your role will be crucial in advancing our production sites in Switzerland and abroad, driving innovations in automation, digitalization, and operational excellence within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing setup. Your contributions will enhance our operational methodologies and support our journey toward a more sustainable future.

With your extensive project management expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, strong results orientation, and technical knowledge, you will lead cross-functional project teams through the entire lifecycle—from concept to handover—ensuring high-quality execution that is both timely and budget-conscious. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining stable operations while strengthening our long-term competitiveness.

You will be part of the Value Chain organization in Baden, reporting to the Teamlead Value Chain Investments, collaborating closely with factory leadership and technical experts across our global value chain.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex factory optimization and investment projects (CAPEX 2–10M CHF), ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution.
  • Develop and apply deep expertise in production processes to drive innovation, automation, and digitalization—achieving the right balance between productivity and operational stability.
  • Manage global, cross-functional teams through all project stages, including initiation, analysis, concept development, implementation, and final handover.
  • Build and lead high-performance project teams, establish effective governance structures, and coordinate work packages efficiently.
  • Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders by ensuring strong customer focus, ongoing dialogue, and service excellence.
  • Develop relationships with external partners, including suppliers, universities, and technology providers, to support project success.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and recommend emerging technologies and innovative processes to enhance factory operations.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices across the company; continually improve project management techniques and tools.

Your Background:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Automation, Production Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 3 years of proven project management experience leading complex CAPEX projects with a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Hands-on experience in the machinery or metal manufacturing industry, ideally with the implementation of advanced technologies (e.g., metal cutting technologies like milling, grinding, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a pragmatic, results-driven approach.
  • Strong financial literacy to evaluate data and develop sound business cases for investments.
  • An analytical thinker with excellent conceptual abilities, alongside a proactive, solution-oriented, and independent working style.
  • A team player with high motivation, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).

Your Benefits:

  • Attractive compensation & benefits.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Global parental leave program.
  • Flexible working models.
