As a Project Lead Buyer, you’ll be a key member of our dynamic Supply Chain Team. Together, we ensure that our innovative products—from precisely manufactured components to complete rocket half-shells—are delivered on time, in top quality, and under optimal conditions.

In this pivotal role, you will take responsibility for the strategic development of our procurement operations, drive continuous improvement, and help build strong, reliable supplier partnerships. Your key interfaces include: Project Management, Engineering, Commodity Management, and, of course, your local team. Your impact will be immediate and meaningful—on projects, products, and our company’s success.

Join us on a mission that combines precision, innovation, and purpose—help us build the future of advanced manufacturing.

Your Mission:

  • Sourcing possible suppliers based on technical, economic, and quality requirements.

  • Clarify technical feasibility with suppliers and introduce (alternative) solution proposals (design to cost) from suppliers in the concept phase.
  • Negotiate prices and conditions while establishing framework agreements and contracts.
  • Continuously optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) and drive savings initiatives.
  • Represent purchasing interests in the product development process (BOM, specification/drawing availability, meeting cost targets and manufacturing deadlines).
  • Ensure all externally sourced BOM parts, materials, and jigs are available in line with project milestones.
  • Highlight potential deviations from plan (cost, time, quality), defining and ensuring counteractions.
  • Maintain ERP procurement article data.
  • Ensure sourcing aligns with company and general legal sourcing rules.
  • Issue and follow up on orders (if applicable, together with Purchasers and Buyers).
  • Coordinate and implement the needs and requirements of materials management and production planning.
  • Participate in supplier qualification and development.
  • Issue and follow up on supplier quality claims.

Your Story:

  • Completed technical and/or commercial education, with 3+ years of in-depth technical and operational sourcing experience.
