Project Engineer Position
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer for our Pharma client located in Visp.
Role Description
The Project Engineer develops innovative concepts and provides expert advice to stakeholders, guiding them through critical decision-making processes. This role involves executing detailed engineering plans, managing project funding applications, and overseeing the work execution. The Project Engineer is accountable for project costs, timelines, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Project Management (60%)
- Planning and executing small to medium-sized investment projects that directly impact production and business results.
- Conducting process engineering calculations and optimizing plant operations.
- Performing feasibility studies for new facilities or renovations of existing plants, including cost estimation, scheduling, and functionality assessments.
- Facilitating the planning, implementation, and support of production adjustments and product launches.
- Concept Development (20%)
- Developing technical solutions while evaluating their advantages and disadvantages.
- Team Coordination & Resource Management (10%)
- Procuring and organizing the necessary internal or external resources for the professional and timely execution of projects.
- Process Optimization & Knowledge Transfer (10%)
- Optimizing process flows and facilitating effective solution implementation.
Education
Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, or Bio/Chemical Engineering.
