We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer for our esteemed pharma client located in Visp.
Role Description
The Project Engineer will develop innovative concepts and provide guidance to stakeholders in decision-making processes. This role involves executing detailed engineering plans, managing project budgets, timelines, and overall functionality.
Responsibilities
The Project Engineer will be engaged in several key areas:
- Technical Project Management (60%)
- Planning and realization of small to medium-sized investment projects impacting production and business results.
- Conducting process engineering calculations and optimizing plant operations.
- Conducting feasibility studies for new plants and renovations of existing facilities, including cost estimation, scheduling, and functionality assessments.
- Planning, executing, and supporting production adjustments and product launches.
- Concept Development (20%)
- Developing potential technical solutions while evaluating their advantages and disadvantages.
- Team Coordination / Resource Management (10%)
- Procuring and organizing the necessary resources (internal or external) for the effective and timely execution of projects.
- Process Optimization and Knowledge Transfer (10%)
- Optimizing process flows and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
Education
The ideal candidate will possess a Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in mechanical engineering, process technology, bioengineering, or chemical engineering.
