Project Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Project Engineer for our pharmaceutical client based in Visp. This role is pivotal in driving the success of various projects within the organization.
Role Description
The Project Engineer is responsible for developing concepts and advising stakeholders on critical decision-making processes. This includes executing detailed engineering plans, managing project finances, timelines, and ensuring the functionality of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Project Management (Project Lead - 60%):
- Plan and realize small to medium-sized investment projects with direct impacts on production and business outcomes.
- Conduct process engineering calculations and optimize plant operations.
- Prepare feasibility studies for new facilities or renovations of existing plants, including cost estimations, scheduling, and functionality assessments.
- Support production adjustments and product launches through effective planning and realization.
- Concept Development (20%):
- Develop potential technical solutions while evaluating their advantages and disadvantages.
- Team Coordination/Resource Management (10%):
- Procure and organize the necessary resources (internal or external) to ensure professional and timely project execution.
- Process Optimization and Knowledge Transfer (10%):
- Optimize process flows and implement effective solutions.
Education
A Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Master's preferred) in mechanical engineering, process technology, bio-engineering, or chemical engineering is required.
