Job Opportunity: Project Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer for our Pharma client based in Visp.
Role Description
The Project Engineer will develop innovative concepts, advise clients on decision-making, and execute detailed engineering plans. This position is crucial for managing project costs, deadlines, and functionality.
Technical Project Management
- Project Lead (60%):
- Plan and realize small to medium-sized investment projects with direct impacts on current production and business outcomes.
- Conduct process engineering calculations and optimize plant performance.
- Execute feasibility studies for new plants or the refurbishment of existing ones, including cost estimations, scheduling, and functionality assessments.
- Support production adjustments and product launches through effective planning and execution.
- Concept Development (20%):
- Develop and evaluate potential technical solutions, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
- Team Coordination/Resource Management (10%):
- Procure and organize the necessary resources, both internal and external, to ensure professional and timely project execution.
- Process Optimization and Knowledge Transfer (10%):
- Optimize process flows and implement effective solutions.
Education
A Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, or Bio/Chemical Engineering is required.
