Job Opportunity: Project Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer for our pharmaceutical client based in Visp.
Role Description
The Project Engineer is responsible for developing concepts and advising clients on decision-making processes. This role encompasses detailed engineering planning, managing project execution, and ensuring that costs, timelines, and project functionalities are met.
Technical Project Management (60%)
- Planning and realization of small to mid-sized investment projects that directly impact current production and/or business outcomes.
- Performing process engineering calculations and plant optimizations.
- Conducting feasibility studies for new plants and/or renovations of existing plants, including cost estimation, scheduling, and functionality assessment.
- Planning, executing, and supporting production adjustments and product launches.
Concept Development (20%)
- Elaborating potential technical solutions while evaluating their advantages and disadvantages.
Team Coordination and Resource Management (10%)
- Procurement and organization of necessary resources (internal or external) for the professional and timely execution of projects.
Process Optimization and Knowledge Transfer (10%)
- Optimizing process flows and implementing effective solutions.
Education
Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in mechanical engineering, process technology, bioengineering, or chemical engineering.
