Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer with expertise in Black Utilities to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with prestigious clients, providing support to the Global Engineering Team during the planning, construction, and start-up of Black Utilities infrastructure and plant units.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Engineering: Develop and verify ideas, generate feasibility and conceptual studies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external project partners, including electrical, measurement, and controls engineering, civil engineering, HVAC engineering, 3D planning, field engineering/construction management, fire protection, and other subject matter experts.
- Project Execution: Support project execution from internal approval through to successful start-up, including commissioning and acceptance of systems.
- Documentation: Prepare required calculations, technical documents, and specifications, and manage the collection, control, and handover of as-built documentation.
- Coordination: Participate in 3D coordination, collision checks, and adjustments during project phases.
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in project engineering, planning, construction, or start-up of plants in the chemical, pharma, or biopharma industry, coupled with a minimum of 5 years in CAPEX Engineering and/or Operations Engineering within these sectors.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams; structured thinking and a precise working style.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level).
