Position: Project Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Project Administrator to support the coordination of a significant third-party-funded research project, backed by a U.S. agency, along with other ongoing research initiatives within our team. The role encompasses various general administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the project manager in overseeing project finances and monitoring expenditures.
Prepare and compile financial reports.
Act as a liaison among our group, various ETH Zurich units, external partners, and funding agencies.
Organize meetings and workshops, coordinate logistics, and contribute to broader administrative tasks.
Position Details
This is a temporary position initially limited to 12 months, with the potential for extension. The position is offered at 40% to 80%, depending on your interests and educational background.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences, or a commercial or administrative qualification.
Demonstrated interest and proven competence in financial topics such as budgeting, cost tracking, or financial reporting.
Practical experience in project administration, ideally in an academic or research context.
A structured and precise working style, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Enjoyment in organizing events (e.g., meetings, workshops) and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Excellent command of English and good German skills, both written and spoken.
