Join Biovision: Programme Officer International Partnerships

Biovision is dedicated to building sustainable food systems from farm to fork. We advocate for agroecological approaches, socially equitable value chains, food security, and agricultural production that harmonizes with nature. By supporting focused research and projects in sub-Saharan Africa and Switzerland, we are developing solutions for the future—through initiatives led by us or in collaboration with partner organizations.

Founded in 1998 by Swiss entomologist and Right Livelihood Award laureate Hans Rudolf Herren, Biovision enhances the lives of farming families while protecting the environment. We emphasize agroecology—a holistic approach that integrates sustainable farming methods with social responsibility and inclusive dialogue in policy-making. By doing so, we tackle global challenges such as hunger, climate change, and biodiversity loss, striving towards a future-proof food system.
