Your Mission
Job Description
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the Production Surveillance Engineering team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while driving operational excellence across all Iceland sites.
- Operational Optimization: Maximize CDR output and Mammoth run rate through operational surveillance and ongoing optimization.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensure operational effectiveness by monitoring and improving availability, performance, and recovery across all Iceland sites, including reporting on energy, production, and operating costs.
- Data-Driven Improvements: Analyze plant data to identify and validate improvement projects.
- Digital Integration: Drive the integration of digital tools such as ERP, document management, and dashboarding into daily operations, transforming data into actionable insights.
- Compliance and Auditing: Support auditing efforts to ensure 100% traceability of CDR production while maintaining a safe and compliant plant operation, upholding a culture of safety without compromise.
Your Story
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Hold a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in process engineering, chemical engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 6 years of experience in plant operation, maintenance, and team leadership within process engineering or a related industry.
- Operational Expertise: Proven track record in operational surveillance, troubleshooting, and executing improvement projects in scale-up environments.
- Analytical & Digital Skills: Proactive problem solver with strong data analysis capabilities using SQL and Python, and experience with dashboarding tools such as Seeq, PowerBI, or Grafana.
- Mindset & Working Style: Excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of building positive team dynamics and fostering cross-departmental cooperation.
- Language & Travel: Business fluent in English, with Icelandic or German as a plus, and willing to travel up to 30%.

This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, and we ask that you work onsite at least three days per week.
