We are currently seeking an experienced Production Planner to join an established manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton on an initial 3-6 month fixed-term contract.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Production Planner with experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing. You will support production operations, coordinate planning activities, and help ensure that customer demand is met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production schedules in line with customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate production plans with manufacturing, materials, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
• Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
• Manage material availability, inventory levels, and production requirements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain accurate planning data and provide updates on production performance.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in production planning within an industrial manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and material planning.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage competing priorities.
• Available to start immediately or at very short notice.
